Cleaner & household help

Everything about regular cleaning of flats, houses and offices.

How do I find a cleaner near me?

Enter your postcode in the configurator – we automatically look for a cleaner from your area. Putz24 works in all 26 cantons and has locations in Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Basel, Solothurn and Zug.

Will I always have the same cleaner?

Yes. You get a regular cleaner who comes to you on a fixed schedule. This way she knows your home and your wishes. During holidays or illness we arrange a replacement whenever possible.

What does the cleaner do during a regular cleaning?

She cleans floors, surfaces, kitchen and bathroom. On request she also takes care of extras such as the fridge, oven or some windows. Tell us when booking what matters most to you.

How often does the cleaner come?

Weekly, every 2 weeks or several times a week – you decide. You choose the weekdays and time window (between 6 am and 6 pm) in the configurator. For homes and offices we only offer regular cleaning, no one-off visits.

Who provides cleaning products and the vacuum cleaner?

In private homes you provide cleaning products, cloths and equipment such as the vacuum cleaner. For offices we agree on it together: either you provide the materials, or Putz24 brings them for an extra charge.

Do I have to be at home during the cleaning?

No. Many customers hand over a key. On request we manage the keys and work with a digital checklist.

Employment, AHV & insurance

Legal, insured and without paperwork – what you need to know.

Do I have to register my cleaner with the AHV?

If you employ a cleaner privately, yes – then you are the employer. You have to register her with the compensation office, pay social security contributions and take out accident insurance, even for small workloads.

With Putz24 you don't need to. The cleaners are employed by us. We take care of wages, AHV (Swiss social security), insurance and replacements. You simply receive one invoice.

Are the cleaners insured?

Yes, all Putz24 cleaners are fully insured and legally employed. There is no undeclared work.

How much does a cleaner earn in Switzerland?

At Putz24 cleaners earn between CHF 26 and CHF 30 gross per hour. Proper social benefits are added. Fair wages mean happy employees – and consistent quality in your home.

Why choose a cleaning company instead of undeclared work?

With undeclared work you carry the risk: if there is an accident in your home there is no insurance, and back payments and fines may follow. With Putz24 everything is legally settled, and there is a replacement if your cleaner is absent.

Move-out cleaning

Hand over your flat clean – with or without a handover guarantee.

What is a handover guarantee?

With the handover guarantee we clean again free of charge if the property management finds something at the handover. On request we also accompany you to the handover. The guarantee costs CHF 250 and is optional.

What is included in a move-out cleaning?

All rooms, kitchen, bathroom and WC are cleaned thoroughly. You can add cellar, attic, conservatory or balcony as well as extras such as windows, oven, fridge, cupboards inside or carpet.

When should I book the move-out cleaning?

Ideally a few weeks before you move out. In the configurator you choose the cleaning date and the handover date. We then confirm availability.

What happens if more work is needed on site?

We always discuss extra work with you first. Additional costs only arise once you agree. So you stay in control of the price.

Checklist: what do I have to do myself before the handover?

  • Empty the flat completely – including cellar, attic and balcony.
  • Agree the handover date with the property management.
  • Plan the cleaning so it is finished before the handover.
  • Have all keys ready.
  • Note the meter readings (electricity, gas if applicable).

Window cleaning

Streak-free windows for flats, houses and businesses.

Is window cleaning charged per m²?

No, we charge per window. What counts is the number and type of windows, their height and extras such as frames or shutters. That is easier for you because you don't have to measure anything.

Can I book a one-off window cleaning?

Yes. Window cleaning is available one-off or regularly – for example monthly, quarterly or every six months.

How often should windows be cleaned?

As a rule of thumb, 2 to 4 cleanings per year are enough for a private home. For shops, shop windows or homes on busy roads, more frequent cleaning is worthwhile.

Does Putz24 also clean high windows and conservatories?

Yes. Depending on the height we use a ladder or a telescopic pole. The extra time is calculated automatically in the configurator. We also clean glass surfaces, conservatories and shop windows.

When does the office cleaning take place?

He cleans the stairwell and entrance, looks after the surroundings and checks the technical systems. On request we also handle gardening and winter service. We report technical problems immediately and organise repairs if needed.

Does Putz24 work with property managers?

Yes. We look after properties for property management companies, condominium owners and investors – with a dedicated contact person and a clear monthly fee.
